Direct Client – System Specialist (Identity Engineer)
Location: Columbus, OH
Work Address: 30 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH
Interview: In-person
Work Mode: 100% Onsite
Position Overview:We are seeking a System Specialist (Identity Engineer) to support identity and access management (IAM) operations for a large-scale enterprise environment supporting 110,000+ workforce accounts and 8+ million citizen accounts
.
This role is responsible for handling mission-critical identity issues, supporting agencies, and driving automation and security improvements across identity platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage an average workload of 100+ identity-related tickets per month
- Support and administer Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Handle User and troubleshooting
- Process bulk and requests
- Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Provide Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) support and optimization
- Design and implement solutions for Joiner / Mover / Leaver (JML) scenarios
- Collaborate with security teams on enterprise security initiatives
- Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software administration, development, and/or systems support
- Minimum 2 years of experience handling user issues and trouble tickets
- Familiarity with IAM concepts or strong desire to learn Identity & Access Management
- Experience with scripting (Power Shell, Python, or similar) is highly desired
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong IT background
- Experience in system administration or development
- Interest in IAM and security initiatives
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ticket-driven environment
- Must be available for onsite work in Columbus, OH
