Position Overview

We are seeking a Service Now Solution Architect to lead enterprise‑level architecture initiatives within the Service Now platform ecosystem, with a strong focus on integrations, governance, and solution design. This role is responsible for shaping architecture strategy, driving technical standards, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and IT solutions.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience across enterprise architecture disciplines, strong Service Now platform expertise, and the ability to lead complex solution designs across business, application, data, and infrastructure domains. This is a highly visible role requiring cross‑functional leadership and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture & Strategy

+ Define and lead the implementation of enterprise architecture aligned to business strategy.

+ Develop roadmaps for application and platform evolution from current to future state.

+ Establish architecture principles, standards, and governance frameworks.

+ Analyze business drivers and translate them into technical change requirements.

Service Now Platform Architecture

+ Design and lead architecture solutions across the Service Now platform, including core platform, CMDB, integrations, and security.

+ Support both inbound and outbound system integrations.

+ Ensure solution alignment with enterprise architecture standards and policies.

Solution Design & Governance

+ Review business processes and identify improvement opportunities.

+ Lead solution architecture design and ensure adherence to governance standards.

+ Facilitate evaluation and selection of software solutions and configurations.

+ Document architecture designs, decisions, and solution approaches.

Cross‑Functional Leadership

+ Partner with development teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to deliver aligned solutions.

+ Work closely with program management teams to ensure execution aligns with architectural plans.

+ Communicate architecture strategy and technical concepts to executive and technical audiences.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in a related field.

+ 5+ years of experience across multiple IT disciplines (e.g., application development, architecture, infrastructure, database, or operations).

+ Experience working in service-oriented architecture (SOA) environments.

+ Strong understanding of Service Now architecture, including platform, CMDB, integrations, security, and release processes.

Preferred Qualifications

+ 3+ years of experience as a Solution or Enterprise Architect.

+ 3+ years leading technology initiatives or teams.

+ Hands‑on experience supporting Service Now platform architecture and integrations.

+ Experience delivering architecture across business, application, data, and infrastructure domains.

+ Proven experience supporting large-scale, enterprise solutions.

+ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive leadership.
