In this role, you will oversee IBM's hybrid cloud, artificial intelligence, data, and transactional processing initiatives for key accounts.
YourRole and Responsibilities
As a Technical Account Leader for IBM's Technology Portfolio, you will spearhead the technical strategy and tactical engagements with clients, acting as a trusted architecture advisor across the complete IBM Technology Portfolio. You will work in close partnership with clients, Technology Managing Directors/Sellers, and brand sales to define and execute an IBM Client Technical Strategy (CTS) that aligns with the client's business needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead Technical Strategy Development: Create and implement a client-centered technical strategy utilizing IBM's Technology Portfolio, including Software and Infrastructure products.
- Collaborate with Clients and Stakeholders: Partner with clients and team members to understand their business and technical requirements, then develop a tailored IBM Client Technical Strategy (CTS).
- Provide Trusted Advisory Services: Serve as a respected IT architecture advisor, offering expert recommendations on IBM's vast Technology Portfolio.
- Execute Tactical Engagements: Lead and facilitate tactical client engagements to ensure the successful rollout of IBM's technical solutions.
- Document and Refine CTS: Continuously update and enhance the IBM Client Technical Strategy based on feedback, outcomes, and technological advancements.
- Proven experience in developing solution requirements and making essential architectural decisions for clients.
- Technical sales experience in Federal sector areas, with a solid understanding of their disciplines and cultures.
- Experience in designing and implementing solutions while providing architectural direction and leading cross-brand selling efforts.
- Strong ability to establish and nurture robust, trust-based relationships with peers and customers at all levels.
- Familiarity with IBM's Technology Portfolio, including Software and Infrastructure products.
- Experience with IBM's four Software Platforms:
Data Platform, Automation Platform, Transaction Processing Platform, and Hybrid Cloud Platform. - Understanding of IBM's Infrastructure products, such as Power, Storage, Cloud, TLS, and zHW.
- Experience in providing trusted IT architecture advisory services with expertise in IBM's Technology Portfolio.
- Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive technical strategies aligned with client goals.
