We are looking for a Technical Services Practitioner to support and maintain applications and infrastructure across all environments. The role involves applying IT Service Management best practices, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Execute work in adherence with IT Service Management best practices.
- Identify, design, and implement opportunities to standardize operational environments.
- Apply secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Design and develop standard production runs, job control language, and scripts.
- Implement process improvements to optimize operations.
- Provide consultation and support to delivery teams during release activities.
- Engage in critical situations and respond to service disruptions.
- Maintain currency of data in configuration management tools.
- Prepare and present operational metrics, reports, and root‑cause analysis.
- Perform Level
II and III technical support for hardware/software, incident management, monitoring, and knowledge management. - Assist in mitigation of incidents, validation of change activities, and serve as escalation point.
- Provide on‑site support for business continuity and catastrophic events.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum four years of technology experience developing and implementing solutions.
- Experience with IT Service Management processes:
Event, Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration Management. - Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
- Knowledge of secure software and systems engineering practices.
- Experience with scripting and development languages (e.g., Python, Power Shell).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Experience working in a hybrid or remote environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
