We are seeking a highly skilled, forward‑thinking Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to lead Financial reporting and automation for CMM Finance. You will partner across Finance, IT, and Data Engineering to drive reporting modernization, streamline processes, reduce rework, and create scalable best practices. Success requires strong communication skills, relationship‑building across technical and non‑technical groups, and the ability to lead influence‑based initiatives across a complex stakeholder environment.

Financial Reporting

• Leverage Power BI to create and maintain reports for finance (monthly, quarterly reporting to executive leadership level)
• Manage SAP Analytics Cloud support tasks – running reconciliations, troubleshooting data variances, coordinating with finance team leads on forecast submissions.
• Lead bi‑weekly finance meetings with finance leads and IT on forecast requirements, cost center/profit center changes, hierarchy changes, and system changes.
• Build ad hoc reports based on finance needs within SAC, and Power BI.
• Document step‑by‑step processes within Net Suite, SAC and SOX based tasks. Develop and certify semantic layers and governed Power BI data sources. Maintain high‑quality data dictionaries and documentation.

Technical Enablement

• Mentor analysts through code reviews, training, and office hours.
• Upskill teams in SQL/Snowflake, Power BI, semantic modeling, automation and improvements to Excel reporting processes through VBA.
• Accelerate onboarding through reusable components and documentation.

Partnership with IT & Finance

• Influence schema design, and ingestion planning.
• Identify upstream issues early to prevent downstream rework.

Automation & Performance

• Support infrastructure for finance report automation, alerting/monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Track reporting usage and performance; recommend improvements.
• Seek new automation opportunities to improve the current state process.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Build strong relationships across Finance and IT teams.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders while advocating for reporting standards and data governance.
• Deliver insights and recommendations in a clear, executive‑ready format.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives and governance efforts without formal authority.

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

• 7+ years in BI, Analytics, Data Engineering, or related fields.
• Expert (7+ years) Power BI, SQL competency. Advanced (7+ years) Power BI skills (modeling, performance tuning, UX).
• Strong understanding of data modeling, semantic layers, financial reporting, and reporting architectures.
• Experience creating automated solutions for finance teams.
