Data Analyst, Database Administrator, Data Engineer
We are seeking a seasoned Programmer/Analyst with strong SQL and ETL development expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in application development and support, with a focus on MS SQL Server and SSIS-based ETL processes. This role also requires hands‑on experience in production support, ensuring the reliability and performance of critical financial applications.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
- Build and optimize ETL workflows using SSIS to support data integration and transformation
- Monitor and support production jobs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues
- Participate in performance tuning and optimization of database systems
- Document technical processes and maintain system knowledge base
- 5+ years of experience in application development and support
- Proficiency in MS SQL Server, including T‑SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with ETL development using SSIS
- 2+ years experience with C#
- 1+ year experience in Python
- Batch and Groovy Scripting
- Knowledge of AWS
- Strong understanding of relational database design and data modeling
- Experience in production support, including incident management and job monitoring
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent professional experience
- Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Zena, Control‑M, or similar)
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git Hub
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure)
- Knowledge of Service Now or similar ITSM tools
