SQL & ETL Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Programmer/Analyst with strong SQL and ETL development expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in application development and support, with a focus on MS SQL Server and SSIS-based ETL processes. This role also requires hands‑on experience in production support, ensuring the reliability and performance of critical financial applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
  • Build and optimize ETL workflows using SSIS to support data integration and transformation
  • Monitor and support production jobs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues
  • Participate in performance tuning and optimization of database systems
  • Document technical processes and maintain system knowledge base
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in application development and support
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server, including T‑SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with ETL development using SSIS
  • 1+ year of Python
  • Batch and Groovy Scripting
  • Knowledge of AWS
  • Strong understanding of relational database design and data modeling
  • Experience in production support, including incident management and job monitoring
  • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Zena, Control‑M, or similar)
  • 2+ years experience with C#
  • 1+ year experience in
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git Hub
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure)
  • Knowledge of Service Now or similar ITSM tools
