This role will work a hybrid schedule coming into the Columbus, Ohio office 2 days per week on Mondays & Wednesdays.

We are seeking a Technology Analyst to support the Integration Governance Team within the Technology Integration Platforms organization. The team owns the tools, standards, and accelerators that ensure integration solutions across Nationwide are secure, resilient, and consistently delivered. In this role, the Technology Analyst will translate technical and business needs into clear, actionable requirements for the software engineers. They will manage the full requirements lifecycle-from structured analysis and data review to definition of functional and non‑functional needs.

The analyst will work closely with technical leads to identify upstream and downstream impacts, define data structures and integration interfaces, assess affected application components, and outline the work breakdown needed to deliver the desired outcomes. This role requires broad technology and analysis expertise, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to synthesize complex information into work that is ready for engineering execution.

Key Responsibilities:

* Partner with the Product Owner, SEPM, and other stakeholders to understand business needs, desired outcomes, and solution constraints

* Translate business goals and technical objectives into clear, actionable solution requirements

* Lead and facilitate requirements‑gathering sessions using structured facilitation and visual management techniques to ensure alignment

* Document, refine, and clarify requirements and related work products throughout the lifecycle

* Collaborate with engineering and architecture partners to verify, trace, and manage functional and non‑functional requirements

* Apply a strong understanding of supported technologies (APIs, microservices, data, event streams, agentic AI) to accurately document technical solution details

* Manage the full requirements lifecycle-from initial idea and discovery through implementation and validation

As a Technology Analyst you will partner with the business to understand business needs and outcomes as well as provide all types of analysis skills related to understanding and meeting business outcomes. They translate business outcomes into solution requirements using techniques such as facilitation and visual management. A Technology Analyst should have broad technology and analysis experience including: facilitation with large stakeholder groups, managing the complete requirements lifecycle, conducting structured analysis using both quantitative and qualitative techniques, analyzing data and application suites, and problem-solving using a collaborative style.

Technology Analysts are engaged in work efforts at all scales ranging from minor defect fixes and enhancements to development of new applications. You will also work on all types of solution approaches (e.g. custom development, package implementation) and domains (e.g. all application types, data warehouses, Web, and Cloud).
