Work Arrangement: This role follows a hybrid schedule and requires in‑office presence in Columbus, Ohio two days per week.

Workplace Technology Support (WTS) is evolving the way technology support is delivered across the enterprise, with a focus on creating a more proactive, predictive, and seamless support experience that improves stability, reduces disruption, and provides an exceptional customer experience.

As part of the Personal Computing Team (PCT), this role will help shape the future of endpoint support through telemetry‑driven operations, automation, intelligent workflows, and modern support solutions. This role will join a strong, collaborative team of skilled technology professionals who care deeply about the work, the customer experience, and bringing a positive approach to support, while working across WTS and Corporate Technology Solutions & Digital Workplace to evolve our technology support.

• Lead initiatives focused on proactive, predictive, and self‑healing endpoint support.
• Design and implement endpoint telemetry, monitoring, and automated remediation capabilities.
• Drive intelligent automation solutions including virtual agents, autonomous workflows, and intelligent routing.
• Partner across organizations to align priorities, integrate platforms, and deliver support improvements.
• Use operational insights and analytics to reduce incidents and continuously improve performance.
• Ensure solutions align with security and zero‑trust principles.

The ideal candidate brings strong endpoint engineering expertise across networking and operating systems, along with experience in automation, scripting, platform integration, and telemetry‑driven operations. Success in this role requires strong collaboration skills, organizational discipline, and the ability to influence across teams.

The team works across a modern endpoint and digital workplace ecosystem that includes Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Windows OS, Service Now, Zscaler, 1E, and Panagenda, while continuing to expand automation and intelligent support capabilities across the environment.

• Collaborates with Technology Architecture professionals to develop technology product roadmaps.
• Responsible for applying secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Designs and implements standard builds/templates for all technology platforms.
• Drives product improvements through optimization, enhancements and the implementation of new features and functions.
• Works continuously with other Technology Engineering teams and Technology Architecture to ensure the success of products.
• Conducts “proof of concept” labs for enhancements, new solutions and competitive bake‑offs.
• Designs standard and custom technology solutions for business partner projects, including pre‑production testing, performance tuning, handoffs and certification.
• Conducts proactive and reactive monitoring to detect, predict and resolve abnormal conditions in the environment.
• Collaborates with vendors to help drive design innovation in product enhancements and improvements.
