Senior Enterprise Architect, ServiceNow & Governance

We are seeking an experienced CLOCS Architect to support enterprise architecture initiatives within the Service Now application space. This role is responsible for designing and modeling architecture solutions, supporting governance activities, and driving alignment between business objectives and technology strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in solution architecture, enterprise application design, governance frameworks, and cross‑functional collaboration across business and technology teams.

This is a hybrid position requiring onsite presence four days per week in one of the following locations:
Columbus, Dallas, Detroit, Flint, Minneapolis, Charlotte, or Chicago.

• Support the design, modeling, and implementation of enterprise architecture solutions aligned with business and IT strategies
• Analyze business drivers and technology environments to identify change requirements, technical deficiencies, and improvement opportunities
• Define architecture principles and standards to guide enterprise solution decisions
• Design and support governance activities to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and policies
• Develop and maintain roadmaps for enterprise application portfolio evolution
• Coordinate architecture implementation and modification activities across projects and teams
• Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software products, platforms, and technology standards
• Partner with development and infrastructure teams to align systems and solutions with enterprise architecture objectives
• Support platform architecture activities within the Service Now ecosystem, including inbound and outbound integrations
• Drive initiatives focused on reducing technical debt and aligning systems with target‑state architectures
• Collaborate with Architecture Review Boards and cross‑functional stakeholders to support architecture decision‑making and governance
• Document architecture designs, solution analyses, standards, and governance processes

• 5+ years of experience across multiple IT disciplines such as technical architecture, application development, middleware, database management, operations, or network management
• Experience working within client/server or service‑oriented architecture (SOA) environments
• 3+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect
• 3+ years of experience leading technology initiatives and architecture efforts
• Experience working with Architecture Review Boards and architecture governance processes
• Experience creating and maintaining architecture documentation, standards, and decision frameworks
• Experience collaborating with both business and technical/application teams
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles across business, technology, data, application, and infrastructure domains
• Experience driving technical debt reduction and alignment to enterprise target‑state architectures
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

• Full‑stack development background with experience across multiple vendor products and technologies
• Demonstrated experience performing Solution Architecture for large and complex enterprise solutions
• Experience supporting Service Now platform architecture and integrations
• Strong understanding of enterprise application portfolio management and governance practices
