The Cloud Data Solutions Specialist in the Information Technology function is responsible for managing and securing all forms of electronic data, including those related to cloud adoption, architecture, and computing. This role encompasses the design, planning, management, maintenance, and support of cloud infrastructure components, such as network design, virtual machine resource allocation, storage, and security.
They maintain network security in both cloud and on-premises environments, implement and maintain firewall rules, configure load balancers, and ensure the cloud infrastructure aligns with overall Information Technology standards. The specialist collaborates with stakeholders to meet service tiers, internal Service Level Agreements, and organizational goals.
Additional duties may include participating in security audits, conducting risk assessments, and providing technical support for cloud-based and on-premises systems.
At the individual contributor level, the specialist primarily works independently or as part of functional or project teams. They may also coordinate, influence, or review the work of others and manage one or two direct reports at more seasoned levels.
MinimumRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field may be desirable.
- 4 years of relevant experience required.
- 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
