Position OverviewWe are hiring a motivated Inside Sales / Digital Sales Specialist to drive new logo acquisition and build a strong pipeline focused on IBM Storage, watsonx AI, Managed Services, and Application Development Services. This hunter-focused role emphasizes proactive outbound prospecting and digital selling of integrated solutions.
This position is designed with clear career progression — high performers will be promo table to Outside Account Executive within 12-18 months.
You will focus on helping clients solve data storage challenges, accelerate AI adoption and deliver ongoing value through managed operations and custom application development. This is an ideal role for a high-energy sales professional who excels at selling complex technology solutions and recurring/high-margin services in a phone/email/video environment.
Key Responsibilities- Execute outbound digital prospecting campaigns targeting organizations needing IBM Storage modernization, watsonx AI initiatives, Managed Services, and Application Development
- Conduct discovery calls to uncover pain points in data storage, AI readiness, application legacy systems, operational efficiency, and managed services needs
- Identify and engage decision-makers at mid-market and enterprise companies looking for IBM Storage (Flash System, hybrid cloud storage), watsonx AI, managed IT operations, and custom application development/modernization
- Deliver compelling virtual presentations and demonstrations showcasing IBM Storage, watsonx AI capabilities, MAPSYS Managed Services (monitoring, optimization, support), and Application Development & Modernization (Web, Mobile, cloud-native, RPG/COBOL modernization)
- Qualify leads and build a healthy pipeline of Storage, AI, Managed Services, Application Development opportunities for Outside Account Executives
- Position integrated solutions that combine IBM Storage, watsonx AI, MAPSYS Managed Services, and Application Development as a complete modernization and transformation package
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for qualified leads and pipeline value
- Accurately track all activities and pipeline status in CRM
- Stay current on IBM Storage, watsonx AI, managed services best practices, and application development trends
- 1 to 2+ years of proven experience in Inside Sales, Digital Sales, or Business Development with a focus on storage, AI, managed services, or application development sales
