Job Summary

Service Now QA is a senior-level QA professional responsible for leading testing efforts for enterprise Service Now applications and platform enhancements. This role will oversee quality assurance activities throughout the SDLC and ensure delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead QA and testing activities for Service Now implementations, enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
  • Utilize Service Now Test Management and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Review user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Track, manage, and validate defects through resolution.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and results.
  • Provide testing status reports, metrics, and risk assessments.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Support Service Now platform upgrade and release testing.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
  • Mentor junior QA team members and promote QA best practices.
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of Service Now QA and testing experience.
  • 5+ years working in Agile software development environments.
  • Experience testing:
    • Service Now ITSM
    • Service Now CRM/CSM
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Service Now Test Management
    • Automated Test Framework (ATF)
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
  • Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
  • Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Highly Desired Skills
  • Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
  • 5+ years of Service Now platform upgrade and release testing experience.
  • Experience testing Service Now integrations with external systems.
  • Experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD, and automated testing practices.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise Service Now implementations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Ideal Candidate
  • Strong Service Now QA Lead/Test Lead background.
  • Hands-on ATF Automation experience.
  • ITSM and CSM testing expertise.
  • Agile and SDLC experience.
  • Service Now certifications preferred.
