Description:
While the core functional and technical requirements remain highly aligned globally, the role changes slightly in focus depending on whether it is positioned in the
** USA office** (typically heavily client-facing, strategic, and architecture-focused)
The SAP IBP Consultant acts as the subject matter expert for Cloud-based Supply Chain Management solutions. This role is responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting end-to-end supply chain planning processes including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Control Tower. The consultant bridges the gap between complex business supply chain requirements and technical SAP capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Blueprinting & Workshops:
Lead discovery sessions and design workshops with executive stakeholders and supply chain leaders to map complex business requirements to SAP IBP standard functionalities.Solution Architecture:
Define the overarching planning models, key figure architecture, and master data strategies to align with broader S/4
HANA transformations.Vendor & Partner Management:
Direct and validate the technical configurations proposed by global system integrators and offshore delivery teams to ensure scalability and quality.Business Adoption & UAT:
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, draft business-relevant test scenarios, and champion change-management efforts to drive end-user adoption.Advanced Innovation:
Evaluate and introduce next-generation capabilities like Generative AI, Machine Learning, and natural language interfaces (e.g., Copilot) into the supply chain ecosystem to optimize forecasting accuracy.
Requirements & Qualifications :
Education:
Bachelors or Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, STEM, or a related field.Experience:
5%2B years of SAP experience, with at least 2 full lifecycle end-to-end SAP IBP implementations in a client-facing or lead architect capacity.Soft Skills:
Impeccable communication, executive presentation skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
