Position: Director - Revenue Cycle Applications

Job Description Summary

Reports to the VP of Applications and is accountable for directing operations and specific technologies or business areas including road mapping. This position works in collaboration with multiple stakeholders within IS and across the enterprise. The director will maintain the relationship with the application vendor(s) to ensure that work is being completed based upon agreement and will be responsible for coordination and oversight with identified supplier(s).

Develops and executes on IT Product/Service strategies and plans. Drives innovation throughout the organization by challenging existing norms, thinking differently, and understanding how technology can be leveraged.

Responsibilities and Duties

40% Strategy – Collaborating with operational leadership to roadmap defined areas’ priorities. Translates the business strategy into an outcome. Drives innovation throughout the organization by challenging existing norms, thinking differently, and understanding how technology can be leveraged.

10% Relationship Management – Develops and maintains relationships with all levels of leadership, including Senior Leaders, across the organization. Ensures IT alignment with business goals and strategies.

20% Supplier Management – Works with suppliers and, when needed, vendors to produce outcomes consistent with organizational strategy. Oversees reporting metrics, dashboards and status reporting to meet expectations for quality and performance for discretionary, support and maintenance work.

20% People Management – Directs all HR aspects of personnel management within assigned area including selection of new associates, initial and ongoing development, evaluation, etc.

10% Financial Management – Plans, monitors and controls operating and capital budget for assigned areas of responsibilities. As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required). Field of Study:
    Business Administration, Computer/Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Health Care, Nursing or Related Field.
  • 8+ years demonstrated, progressive leadership and IT Applications experience.
Specialized Knowledge
  • Ability to communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means.
  • Ability to adjust to and operate in a diverse, unpredictable, challenging, and fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Ability to coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop or recommend planning solutions to problems and situations for which no precedent exists.
  • Ability to function in a collaborative environment, seeking continuous consultation with other analysts and experts both internal and external to the organization.
  • Ability to tailor technical and planning information to a customer’s level of understanding.
  • Ability to assess and forecast manpower requirements to meet organizational objectives.
  • Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
  • Knowledge of specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses.
  • Knowledge of accepted organization planning systems.
  • Knowledge of software delivery methodologies such as Agile, and various phases of SDLC and familiarity with Dev Ops concepts that are critical to efficient operations.
  • Knowledge of key principles, and patterns applicable to the focus area.
  • Knowledge of information security concepts, facilitating technologies and methods.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of relating compliance, technical and nontechnical information to varied audiences with impact.
  • Knowledge in and able to strategic roadmap.
