Overview

Position: SAP ABAP Developer with Utilities Industry

Location:

Columbus, OH (Onsite) – Local ONLY

Duration: 12+ months contract

• Develop and maintain complex ABAP programs, Object-Oriented (OO) ABAP classes, BADIs, BAPIs, and User Exits to enhance standard SAP PM and IS-U functionality.
• Build custom enhancements for plant maintenance, work order management, equipment tracking, and preventative maintenance processing.
• Support utilities processes by developing custom solutions around Device Management, Billing, FICA, and Meter Data Management.
• Design and implement robust inbound/outbound interfaces to connect SAP with legacy systems, mobile EAM field devices, and SCADA using IDOCs, RFCs, and OData services.
• Build SAP Fiori applications, Core Data Services (CDS) views, and AMDPs within SAP S/4
  
  HANA environments.
• Translate functional specifications into technical designs, and collaborate closely with functional consultants to troubleshoot and test system implementations.

• Experience:
  
  5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience, including RICEFW in complex landscapes.
• Domain Knowledge:
  Proven track record of working within the Utilities Domain.
• EAM Expertise:
  Deep understanding of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and EAM business processes.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Advanced Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP); familiarity with SAP S/4
  
  HANA, CDS views, and OData/REST services; expertise in ABAP performance tuning and debugging.

• At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
