Lead QA Test Analyst

Role Summary

The QA Testing Analyst Lead role for the IT Commercial Technology group will be responsible for manual testing and act as project test lead for multiple projects. The role includes planning and coordinating testing, creating and executing test strategy documents for projects impacting systems in the Commercial Operations areas. Experience in System Integration Testing (SIT), Disaster Recovery (DR) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is required.

The incumbent will manage multiple concurrent testing efforts and coordinate with project resources such as test analysts, project managers and business SMEs.

• Create Test Strategy/Plan documents in collaboration with the Development team, SMEs, and Business to ensure full coverage of acceptance criteria.
• Develop System Integration test cases and test scripts.
• Work with business segment testers to support UAT, ensuring criteria are clear, test data is available, results and defects are documented and addressed.
• Deliver testing estimates, metrics (including defect metrics), and implementation plans.
• Produce daily and weekly test execution metrics and status reports.
• Assist Project Managers in driving defect resolution.
• Partner with Technical PMs and the team to plan and build test environments.
• Leverage existing tools and techniques to streamline and automate testing where possible.
• Participate in walk‑throughs, inspections, reviews, and user group meetings for quality assurance.
• Verify production implementation and validate system quality.
• Comply with Software Development Life Cycle standards, plans, and procedures.

• Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance testing and meeting facilitation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of test data requirements and conditioning data for complex test scenarios.
• Experience with test tools such as Test Management (Quality Center), Automation, and Defect Tracking.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Previous analytical experience in problem analysis and result interpretation.
