OverviewThis Emerging Technology Lead position will be responsible for coordinating and delivering on specified education initiatives at the university that will often span the campus community and beyond, starting with one of the university’s most ambitious goals: AI Fluency. The Lead will execute on strategic plans, build structure, and provide the necessary support and resources to enable units across campus to successfully deliver on these initiatives.
Collaboration and coordination across multiple departments and audiences will be essential, with the primary focus in the near term on the university’s AI Fluency initiative announced in the summer of 2025.
- Develop execution plans informed by the AI Fluency strategy and coordinate with units across the university to bring these plans to life.
- Track progress and report findings, ensuring consistent communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with marketing and communications teams to craft compelling messaging that reaches the correct audiences.
- Convene and support others in organizing faculty and stakeholder forums, councils, and other programming or events to promote collaboration.
- Work closely with the Office of Technology and Digital Innovation to explore potential edtech tools or solutions that support educational initiatives.
- Collaborate with faculty, educators, and staff to gather feedback, co‑create solutions, and align execution across teams.
- Lead working groups of educators, staff, and students, facilitating collaboration and aligning execution across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of six years of relevant work experience, preferably in driving high‑impact, cross‑functional initiatives.
- Proven ability to collaborate with large groups and individuals.
- Strong organizational, execution, and project management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent relationship‑management skills.
- Ability to measure, track, and articulate metrics and results.

- Targeted salary range: $103,000 – $134,500 (actual salary may vary).
- Full-time, 40 hours per week, first shift; regular position.
- Background check required; drug screen or physical may be requested during the post‑offer process.
