Job Title

Lead of Emerging Technology Programs

Overview

The position will coordinate and deliver education initiatives at The Ohio State University, primarily focusing on the AI Fluency initiative for the Class of 2029. The role involves collaborating across departments, building structure, and providing support to enable campus units to successfully deliver these initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Execute strategic plans, build structure, and provide necessary support to enable units across campus in delivering technology initiatives.
  • Partner with marketing and communications teams to ensure compelling messaging reaches the right audiences.
  • Lead or support others in convening faculty, stakeholders, and students through forums, councils, and other programming to promote collaboration.
  • Ensure consistent tracking, reporting, and sharing of progress and insights with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the Office of Technology and Digital Innovation to explore potential edtech tools and operational solutions supporting these efforts.
  • Convene and lead working groups of educators, staff, and students, facilitating collaboration and alignment across teams.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum of six years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to collaborate and work with large groups and individuals.
  • Strong organizational, execution, and project management skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills, and ability to measure, track, and articulate metrics and results.
Desired Attributes

A demonstrated understanding of emerging technology trends and continuous education; experience in developing upskilling initiatives and/or education.

Additional Information
  • Salary range: $103,000 - $134,500. Actual salary will vary based on education, experience, and internal equity.
