Role OverviewAs an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll play a critical role in the world of IAM and zero trust. In this role you’ll support large‑scale IAM projects for our government clients, analyze the identity lifecycle, articulate access requirements, and define enterprise identity records. You’ll design, deploy, and support systems that verify appropriate user privileges and manage credentials for accessing our clients’ most valuable assets.
From single sign‑on to privileged access systems, you’ll implement enterprise‑class solutions and help stop adversaries in their tracks.
- 3+ years of experience supporting ICAM, security operations, or identity governance programs
- 3+ years of experience administering directory services such as Active Directory or LDAP
- 3+ years of experience with cybersecurity administration, including identity lifecycle management
- Experience with MFA solutions such as Okta, Duo, or Auth0 and Privileged Access Management such as Cyber Ark or Delinea
- Experience supporting IAM solutions in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS
- Knowledge of PKI and PIV standards and identity security best practices
- Knowledge of identity‑focused cybersecurity principles and controls
- Ability to analyze technical documentation and incorporate industry best practices and security findings
- Secret clearance
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with advisory project management in an IT environment
- Experience with COTS IAM tools, including Microsoft Identity Manager, SailPoint, Saviynt, or One Identity
- Experience with Splunk or ELK stack
- Experience supporting enterprise IAM solution delivery projects
- Experience with project management including schedules, complex problem resolution, or performance management
- Knowledge of troubleshooting processes and standards for IGA or PAM
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required.
Compensation and BenefitsSalary range: $86,900 – $198,000 (annualized USD). Benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement programs; paid leave; professional development; tuition assistance; work‑life programs; and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible for Booz Allen benefit programs.
