Position: Digital Marketing Strategist: Paid Media & ROI Growth

Digital Marketing Strategist

Futurety is seeking an experienced and analytical Digital Marketing Strategist to join our team! This role is perfect for a seasoned paid media professional who excels at developing, executing, and optimizing high-performance digital advertising strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep, hands-on expertise in major paid media platforms (especially Google Ads and Meta Ads), a knack for advanced data analysis, and the ability to drive significant ROI.

This includes owning and leading successful digital marketing campaigns, with a primary focus on search and paid social media campaigns, specifically Google Ads formats (Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen) and Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), and extending to platforms like Tik Tok Ads, Linkedin Ads etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Paid Digital Media Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop, lead, and manage comprehensive paid media strategies across search engines and social media platforms to achieve measurable business objectives.
    • Manage significant advertising budgets, ensuring optimal allocation and performance efficiency across all campaigns.
    • Conduct advanced keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and refine existing strategies.
    • Implement sophisticated testing methodologies (A/B testing, multivariate testing) for landing pages, ad copy, creative, and bidding strategies.
    • Stay ahead of platform changes, policy updates, and new features on Google Ads and Meta Ads.
  • Search Engine / Answer Engine Optimization (SEO/AEO):
    • Perform keyword research and implement on-page optimization strategies to improve presence in both traditional search engines as well as AI (AI Overview, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity).
    • Perform site audits, prioritize tasks based on impact and effort and create implementation timelines.
    • Assist in the development of content strategies.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Utilize advanced analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, platform APIs) to deeply track, analyze, and report on marketing performance, going beyond vanity metrics.
    • Generate executive-level performance reports with actionable insights and strategic recommendations to optimize campaigns for key performance indicators (KPIs) and ROI.
    • Own the measurement framework and attribution models for all paid campaigns.
    • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation and reporting.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Content, Sales, Development) to ensure alignment and consistency in marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of demonstrated, hands-on experience managing and optimizing significant budgets in a dedicated digital marketing or paid media role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Ads (Search, PMax, You Tube, Demand Gen) and Meta Ads, including campaign setup, advanced targeting, bidding strategies and troubleshooting.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable results and strong ROI from paid media campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of marketing funnels, customer journeys, and the role of paid media at each stage.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to address marketing topics at different levels of understanding.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a focus on meticulous attention to detail and accountability for budget management.
