Senior Business Reporting Analyst Lead

Job Summary

The Business Systems Analyst Lead works with business partners within one or more business units to align technology solutions with business strategies.

• Lead and manage business operations data, reporting, and analysis efforts for Technology.
• Develop and enforce reporting standards, governance policies, and data quality practices.
• Drive reporting automation initiatives to eliminate manual, spreadsheet‑based processes.
• Own and support budget, staffing, workforce, operational, and spend reporting for the BMO and Technology organization.
• Collaborate with business partners to deliver the right reporting solutions.
• Coach, mentor, and guide BMO analysts and reporting resources, reviewing technical work and facilitating problem‑solving on reporting and data challenges.
• Maintain knowledge of the reporting architecture across AWS Athena, Service Now, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Excel, and identify scalability and efficiency improvements.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 8 to 12 years of related experience.

• Tableau and Power BI experience required; able to personally build reports and dashboards.
• Experience with AWS Athena and SQL.
• Experience with Python for reporting automation and data processing.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Strong executive presence and ability to communicate with executive and C‑suite audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop analysts; experience as a hands‑on manager.
