Salesforce Business Analyst

Direct client:
Salesforce Business Analyst, Columbus, OH

Position is remote; but travel to Columbus is required as needed for on-site meetings.

First round interviews will be via TEAMS. If candidate is local, second round may be in person at Rhodes Tower in Columbus.

• Act as an Agile Scrum Master to keep project teams on track, ensure sprint deliverables are completed, and facilitate planning and execution of future sprints.
• Support the design, development, and enhancement of internal Salesforce applications for business users.
• Utilize wireframes, screen mock-ups, and prototypes to help stakeholders and development teams visualize requirements and proposed solutions.
• Conduct interviews and workshops with business users to understand current processes, product usage, challenges, and business needs.
• Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlog items.
• Collaborate with UI/UX Designers, Developers, Application Architects, and Data Architects to define and document product features and technical requirements.
• Coordinate product demonstrations and gather stakeholder feedback to drive continuous product improvements.
• Lead business process analysis, process flow mapping, and process redesign initiatives.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and document functional and non-functional requirements, workflows, business rules, and process diagrams.
• Maintain requirements traceability and manage change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create, maintain, and update project deliverables, business documentation, technical specifications, and project artifacts.
• Work closely with Architects, Developers, QA teams, and Project Managers to define testing strategies and ensure quality deliverables.
• Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, test plans, and testing procedures.
• Perform Quality Assurance (QA) testing and validate application functionality against documented requirements.
• Assist project teams with troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and recommending solutions.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.
• Support application integrations with internal and external systems and participate in integration testing activities.

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in a structured software development environment.
• 3+ years of Quality Assurance (QA) testing experience in a structured software development environment.
• 2+ years of Agile software development experience.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Strong experience with requirements gathering, documentation, analysis, and management.
• Experience creating user stories, workflows, process diagrams, and business process documentation.
• Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and QA testing activities.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and software testing principles.
• Experience working with application integrations and external/internal system interfaces.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Salesforce Certified Business Analyst.
• Experience working on Salesforce platform projects.
• Experience supporting Agile Scrum teams and Salesforce application implementations.
