Presidio is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to join our team in either Indianapolis, IN, Chicago, IL, or Detroit, MI. This position would include approximately 25% travel in the region.

Provide top‑notch technical expertise, build trust with clients, drive service sales, and lead both pre‑sales and post‑sales activities. The role requires deep industry knowledge, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to collaborate with account managers, services teams, and vendors to deliver value to clients.

• Support multiple key account teams with technical expertise and professional leadership.
• Gain client trust through subject‑matter expertise, integrity, and professionalism.
• Drive services sales and align with service teams, communicating pre‑sales approaches and providing leadership during project execution.
• Develop high‑quality pre‑sales materials (builds of materials, statements of work, design commentary, diagrams, rough order‑of‑magnitude documents).
• Continuously learn new skills to serve clients effectively as the IT and AI market evolves.
• Align with vendor partnerships and help execute specific vendor programs.
• Act as a trusted advisor, proactively presenting technical solutions and educating clients on Presidio‑led benefits.
• Consultatively sell by listening and developing conversations until client needs are explicitly stated.
• Lead with high‑value offerings such as managed services and consulting.
• Understand Presidio’s full range of capabilities, including those of other practices and national teams.
• Share best practices and industry intelligence with team members.
• Support other team members as needed and assist with pipeline tracking.
• Promote the best professional services vehicle to enable successful client execution.
• Maintain industry relevance through social media participation and attendance at industry events.
• Maintain long‑term lifecycle strategy relationships with clients at all levels.
• Meet with customers, collect requirements, and develop solutions with account managers.
• Create high‑level solution designs, architectures, presentations, and customer‑facing materials.
• Build scopes of services, professional service pricing, statements of work, and bills of materials.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, including military experience.
• 7+ years of experience demonstrating significant expertise in storage, virtualization, compute, converged, cloud, or related technologies/services.
• Experience with relevant OEM manufacturers and/or IT solution providers, VARs, and partners.

• Knowledge of AI Software‑Defined Data Center (SDDC) technologies.
• Experience with Dell, Everpure, Net App, HPE, VAST Data storage systems.
• Proficiency with VMware, Nutanix, Dell, Cisco UCS, HPE servers, and hyperconverged solutions.
• Understanding of storage protocols: NFS, CIFS, ISCSI, FC.
• Cloud architectural strategies using Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS.
• Automation and orchestration strategies including UI Path, VMware Automation, Ansible, and Red Hat.

• Relevant industry certifications from Dell, Netapp, Everpure, AWS, VMWare, or similar vendors.
