Procurement Category Manager, Third Party Data

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid, 1 to 2 days per week)

Are you experienced in sourcing third party data that supports insurance underwriting, claims, and risk management? We're looking for a Procurement Category Manager to develop category strategies, negotiate supplier agreements, and partner with business leaders to ensure our data solutions drive informed decision making and business performance.

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for third party data, including credit reports, motor vehicle records, loss history, and other external risk data.
• Partner with underwriting, claims, legal, privacy, and technology teams to understand business needs and identify the right data solutions.
• Lead supplier negotiations, including pricing, service levels, licensing terms, and usage rights.
• Manage supplier performance and support ongoing vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, privacy standards, and internal policies related to third party data.

• Experience sourcing and managing third party data for underwriting, claims, or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of data licensing agreements, contractual terms, and usage rights.
• Experience negotiating with data providers and managing supplier relationships.
• Understanding of privacy, regulatory, and compliance considerations related to external data.
• The ability to align procurement strategies with business objectives and deliver value across the organization.

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Columbus, Ohio, with an expectation of working in the office one to two days each week.
