Dev Ops Engineer
Columbus, OH
Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java Spring Boot microservices and APIs.
- Automate application deployment using Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, and Kubernetes/Open Shift.
- Monitor application health, performance, and reliability using Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Implement infrastructure automation and deployment strategies across AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Support API lifecycle management, including deployment, versioning, scaling, and rollback strategies.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Configure alerts, dashboards, SLIs/SLOs, and observability solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application resiliency and performance.
- Implement security best practices including secrets management, container security, and vulnerability scanning.
- Support blue‑green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies.
- Manage containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and Open Shift.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies for production environments.
- Maintain source code repositories and branching strategies using Git/Git Lab.
