• Must have a Bachelor's degree. Required Skills
• Must be a Test Program Lead/Manager – not a Test Analyst. Owns the testing program, not just execution.
• Must have already completed a full data warehouse conversion project and understand the complexity.
• Must have specific experience testing on-premise to cloud migrations (more niche than standard testing).
• Ability to manage multiple testing streams in an Agile environment.
• Ability to manage a distributed team of test analysts and test executors.
• Ability to coordinate testing efforts across multiple projects leveraging the same shared testing resources.
• Technical Stack (Critical Knowledge): SQL, Reporting tools, Snowflake, JIRA, X-Ray, Confluence, and Microsoft Tool Set. Nice-to-Have (Preferred, Not Required):
• Selenium (automation testing).
• Background in Automotive or Financial Services industries.
• Prior familiarity with the BMW Bobcat project. Manager Specifics:
The hiring manager explicitly requires a senior-level leadership role to manage the testing program strategically, while still being hands-on with the process.
Job Description
• Design and templatize test and execution standards for analysts and test executors.
• Create and communicate a comprehensive testing strategy and plan.
• Create and align the test schedule with business stakeholders, development teams, and testing resources.
• Design, execute, and communicate reporting on test status and testing projections on daily, weekly, and sprint cadences.
• Manage multiple testing streams and a distributed team of test analysts/executors.
• Coordinate testing efforts with other projects that share the same testing resources.
• Advocate for and support testing efforts in team meetings, management reviews, and executive forums (up to Director level).
• Provide oversight and coordination for the conversion migration – testing is a huge component in Year 1.
• Coordinate with business units across multiple hubs to ensure alignment. Required Soft Skiils:
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate migration alignment to diverse audiences.
• Executive presence – able to advocate for testing efforts in team, management, and executive (Director-level) forums.
• Willing to be hands-on and maintain a strong in-office presence in Columbus, Ohio.
