Job Description

Summary:

The Ohio Health Cybersecurity Domain Architect spearheads enterprise-wide cybersecurity design and technical leadership across all major security domains, including network security, endpoint security, data protection, AI security, cloud security, identity and access management, vulnerability management, threat intelligence and penetration testing, and governance, risk, and compliance.

This role partners with engineering, operations, and business teams to define secure operating models, establish scalable security patterns, guide risk-based decision-making, and ensure security capabilities are integrated consistently across technology platforms, projects, and organizational processes.

This is a hybrid position in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities And Duties:

DOMAIN STRATEGY & STANDARDS (40%)Define and maintain domain-specific architecture vision, roadmap, standards, and reference architectures

Establish domain patterns, best practices, and design principles for consistent implementation

Align domain architecture with enterprise architecture strategy and business objectives

Identify and prioritize domain modernization opportunities and technical debt reduction

Develop and maintain domain technology roadmaps in coordination with Enterprise Architecture Govern domain-level architectural decisions and ensure compliance with enterprise standards TECHNICAL EXPERTISE & GUIDANCE (25%)Serve as the principal subject matter expert for domain-specific technologies and platforms

Evaluate and recommend domain technologies, tools, and vendor solutions

Conduct proof-of-concept initiatives to validate domain technology choices

Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends within the domain

Provide technical guidance on domain-specific design patterns, security, and performance

Assess build vs. buy options for domain components and provide recommendations COLLABORATION & STAKEHOLDER ENG
