We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Collibra Developer to lead the implementation and adoption of enterprise-wide data cataloging, metadata management, and lineage capabilities. This role is critical in enabling data transparency, governance, compliance, and trust across modern cloud and on-premise data ecosystems.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Collibra, metadata management, data governance frameworks, and cloud-based data architectures including AWS and Snowflake.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, implementation, and operationalization of enterprise data catalog and lineage solutions using Collibra
- Develop and maintain metadata management standards and governance frameworks
- Enable end-to-end data lineage visibility across cloud and on-premise platforms
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure enterprise data is discoverable, trusted, and compliant
- Drive adoption of data governance best practices across teams
- Identify, classify, and manage PII (Personally Identifiable Information) and sensitive data
- Integrate metadata and lineage capabilities into AWS-based data platforms and Snowflake environments
- Support initiatives related to data quality, stewardship, and regulatory reporting
- Provide strategic guidance to cross-functional teams on data governance and lineage practices
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Collibra (Data Catalog & Lineage modules)
- Solid understanding of enterprise data governance frameworks and best practices
- Experience with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, and related technologies
- Expertise in Snowflake and relational database systems
- Proven experience implementing metadata management and data lineage solutions
- Strong understanding of PII handling and data privacy requirements
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques
- Experience working within large enterprise or cross-functional environments
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience supporting large-scale data governance transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to data privacy
- Certifications in Collibra, AWS, or Data Governance are a plus
