Purpose of Position

The Program Manager, Training Management Systems is responsible for the coordination of the programs and processes that manage crew member qualifications and currency. The Program Manager, Training Management Systems plans, executes, measures, and corrects assignments to design, test, and implement solutions that help Net Jets, Inc. business units maintain compliance with government and business regulations. The Program Manager, Training Management Systems is responsible for close coordination between Training & Standards, IT, FAA, NJE/EJM/EJME, outside vendors, and system user groups in advancement of daily issues, scheduled and unscheduled enhancements/modifications, and projects.

And Responsibilities
  • Key point of contact for reports and reporting development within the electronic recordkeeping system for all Net Jets, Inc. business units.
  • Develop methods to secure and audit information across platforms.
  • Works to strengthen the company's training management systems through innovative initiatives that fully utilize global departmental resources. Ensures all documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Interacts effectively with stakeholders to meet all global compliance requirements. Collaborates with outside vendors to ensure proper training documentation (records) is produced to maintain compliance.
  • Provide on-going support to global user communities for completed assignments and all technical aspects regarding crew member compliance and training systems.
  • Enforces consistent departmental standards throughout the development and completion of each assignment. Adheres to the schedule and stays on budget. Exercises a global view and includes input from all required stakeholders to achieve global solutions. Exhibits high customer service standards in managing assignments.

Education

Associate's in Business Administration or Aviation Management

Certifications and Licenses Years Of Experience

  • Knowledge of crew member training, regulations and recordkeeping preferred.
  • Experience planning and breaking down a task into sub-tasks and estimating effort to perform the work.
  • Experience with Aviation Training Management System (ATMS), Britannica Fox or similar system preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of reporting systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
