Position: Snowflake Data QA / Quality Manager (
Role Description s:
Validate Source-to-Target Data Mapping Ensure data is accurately loaded from source systems into Snowflake tables according to business requirements.
Perform ETL/ELT Testing Verify data extraction| transformation| and loading processes to ensure correct data movement and transformation.
Execute Data Quality Testing
- Validate completeness| accuracy| consistency| uniqueness| and integrity of data stored in Snowflake.
Develop and Run SQL Validation Queries Create complex SQL queries to compare source and target data| identify discrepancies| and verify business rules.
Test Snowflake Objects Validate databases| schemas| tables| views| materialized views| stages| streams| tasks| and stored procedures.
Perform Regression and Functional Testing Ensure new changes do not impact existing functionalities and validate end-to-end business processes.
Conduct Performance Testing Analyze query execution performance| warehouse utilization| and data load efficiency for large datasets.
Validate Security and Access Controls Test role-based access control (RBAC)| user permissions| data masking policies| and security compliance.
Automate Data Validation Processes Develop automation scripts using SQL| Python| or testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Defect Tracking and Reporting Identify| document| track| and retest defects while collaborating with developers and data engineers to resolve issues.
