- Under the direct supervision of the Administrative Unit Supervisor within Vehicle Information Services (VIS), monitor & analyze operations, systems or process of assigned agency to determined needed improvements & research proposed programs, policies &/or legislation to determine feasibility or impact of implementation:
- Perform a variety of research &/or testing of various systems used by VIS (i.e., Business Application Services System (BASS), Driver License/Vehicle Registration (DL/VR) System, & Special Plates Order Tracking System (SPOTS)) to ensure functionality & alignment with operational needs;
- Recognize & coordinate with various IT Development teams for needed improvements & fixes;
Prepare user stories to provide instructions for software changes; - Attend daily &/or weekly meetings with the Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS) Information Technology Office (ITO), &/or other stakeholders to discuss programming items;
- Research & analyze system updates & the impact they have on other units within the BMV;
Test system updates for operational feasibility & communicate any adjustments or changes;
Provide summary (i.e., written or verbal) for all testing results from all units within VIS;

Qualifications Option 12 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in research & analysis & written documentation of findings.
Option 2-Or completion of undergraduate core program in business or public administration or related field of study.
