We partner across the enterprise to strengthen risk visibility, governance, and decision-making throughout the third-party lifecycle.

At the Consultant level, you will help advance a more mature, data-driven risk program. This person will be tasked to connect business, risk, and technology partners to bring critical third-party data into the enterprise data lake, improve data quality, and translate complex information into meaningful insights for leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business units to identify third-party data gaps and define the critical data elements needed for risk oversight, reporting, and analytics.
  • Lead data gap and quality analyses; help resolve issues affecting completeness, availability, consistency, and reliability.
  • Drive end-to-end work to acquire, validate, and support ingestion of third-party data into the production data lake.
  • Collaborate on the migration from legacy data sources, prioritizing data needs and enabling future-state reporting and analytics.
  • Develop dashboards, visualizations, metrics, and trend analyses that illuminate program health, emerging risks, and third-party concentrations.
  • Convert complex data into clear, actionable insights that support proactive leadership decisions and risk mitigation.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison among risk, business, data, and technology teams; influence partners to resolve dependencies and deliver shared outcomes.
  • Establish business requirements, data definitions, control expectations, and governance practices for third-party risk information.
  • Support continuous enhancement of executive reporting, key risk indicators, data lineage, and analytical capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in third-party risk management, operational risk, enterprise risk, audit, compliance, data governance, business analytics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving data requirements, data quality, reporting, process improvement, or technology implementation.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify meaningful patterns and gaps, and communicate recommendations clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Technical proficiency in Python, SQL or relevant coding application
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships, influence without direct authority, and manage competing priorities in a large, matrixed organization.
  • Experience with dashboards and data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms, is preferred.
