Four Ways Consulting is seeking an experienced macOS Cloud Automation Engineer to design, automate, and manage modern macOS infrastructure within cloud-based environments. This role combines expertise in automation, cloud platforms, endpoint management, and Dev Ops practices to deliver scalable, efficient, and secure Apple device management solutions.

As a macOS Cloud Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining highly automated macOS environments leveraging cloud infrastructure, Dev Ops practices, and endpoint management platforms. You will work closely with infrastructure engineers, security teams, developers, and endpoint administrators to streamline provisioning, deployment, compliance, and lifecycle management of macOS systems. The role requires extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation pipelines, cloud-hosted macOS environments, and API-driven integrations.

You will play a key role in modernizing endpoint operations through automation, self-service capabilities, and intelligent management workflows. • Design, build, and maintain cloud-based macOS infrastructure and automation solutions.
• Deploy and manage AWS EC2 Mac environments to support enterprise and development workloads.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for macOS applications, automation workflows, and infrastructure deployments.
• Integrate Workspace ONE APIs and automation frameworks to streamline endpoint management operations.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and automation workflows using Git and Git Hub.
• Design and integrate REST APIs to automate provisioning, monitoring, and management processes.
• Support software packaging, deployment, and update workflows across macOS environments.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to implement best practices and compliance requirements.
• Monitor platform performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and automation standards.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience supporting and automating macOS enterprise environments.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Experience deploying and managing AWS EC2 Mac infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Experience integrating and automating workflows using Workspace ONE APIs.
• Strong expertise with Git, Git Hub, and version control best practices.
• Experience working with REST APIs and API-driven automation solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and automation principles.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across infrastructure, security, and engineering teams.
• Strong communication and technical documentation abilities.

• Python programming and automation development experience.
• Experience with Omnissa Intelligence.
• Knowledge of Auto Pkg for macOS software packaging and deployment.
• Experience implementing AI-driven automation and workflow optimization solutions.
• Familiarity with endpoint security, compliance, and device management frameworks.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise Apple environments.
