Ohio Health is seeking an Epic Senior System Analyst to lead advanced analysis, configuration, and optimization of Epic applications across our healthcare network. In this role, you will partner closely with clinicians, operations, and IT teams to design workflows, build and test enhancements, and support complex initiatives such as upgrades and new implementations. You will troubleshoot high-impact issues, ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance, and serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior analysts.

Responsibilities
- Lead analysis, configuration, and optimization of Epic systems to support clinical and operational workflows
- Collaborate with clinicians, IT, and operational leaders to gather requirements and translate them into Epic solutions
- Design, build, and test Epic enhancements, integrations, and upgrades following change management standards
- Troubleshoot complex Epic issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes
- Develop and maintain system documentation, build standards, and technical specifications
- Support Epic upgrades, new module implementations, and optimization initiatives across Ohio
- Health sites
- Provide advanced end-user support, including training, go-live support, and workflow guidance
- Monitor system performance and data integrity, recommending improvements to reliability and usability
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy, and security standards within Epic configurations
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the Epic environment
Required Skills
- Epic system configuration and build
- Epic reporting and data extraction (e.g., Reporting Workbench, Clarity, or Caboodle familiarity)
- Requirements gathering and workflow analysis
- Healthcare IT and clinical workflow knowledge
- SQL or data query tools familiarity
- Change management and release management processes
- System testing, validation, and quality assurance
- Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Technical documentation and specification writing
- Stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration
