Service Now QA Tester
Location:
Columbus, OH (Onsite)
Duration: 3 Month Contract
Job SummaryWe are seeking a Service Now QA Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our Service Now platform. This role is responsible for testing Service Now applications, integrations, CMDB enhancements, and platform upgrades. The ideal candidate has experience with Service Now testing, API integrations, CMDB validation, and regression testing in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Validate integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and third-party applications.
- Support Service Now upgrades, patches, and releases through comprehensive testing.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, administrators, business analysts, and stakeholders.
- Execute automated testing using Service Now ATF when applicable.
- Maintain testing documentation and quality metrics.
- Test CMDB enhancements, Discovery, Service Mapping, and CI relationships.
- Verify CMDB data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software QA/testing experience.
- 3+ years of Service Now testing experience
- Experience testing Service Now modules including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Service Catalog
- Experience testing REST and SOAP integration.
- Understanding of Service Now workflows and platform capabilities
