Solution Engineer Principal

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Solutions Engineer to join our Supply Chain and Procurement Technology portfolio team. This is a hands-on leadership role for guiding a team of developers across full stack technologies, React.js, Node.js, Postgress database. This candidate will oversee end-to-end development, coordinate with business partners, EAM platform (Maximo), Cloud infrastructure, enterprise integration, CI/CD teams to deliver and maintain a high-quality product.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in modern web applications, Dev-Ops practices.

What You’ll Do:

Essential Job Functions & Tasks:

• Participate in analysis sessions and support business analysts to document application requirements.
• Architect and guide the team on AI solutions to support the portfolio.
• Architect and develop responsive front-end applications using React.js.
• Build and maintain robust back-end services and APIs using Node.js.
• Design and manage data models and integrations with Postgress database.
• Coordinate with cloud infrastructure team to deploy scalable, secure applications using AWS services.
• Configure and maintain the CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployments.
• Collaborate with enterprise integration teams to ensure secure and stable communication between systems.
• Provide support for production environments, including root cause analysis, incident management and change management procedures.
• Collaborate with IT security teams to implement IAM and access controls.
• Ensure adherence to business continuity and disaster recovery standards and planning.

Additional Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
• Familiarity and experience with Agile/Scrum framework.
• Hands on experience with AI tools.
• Proficient in React.js, Node.js and Postgress SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud architecture and services.
• Strong experience with CI/CD (Git Hub), enterprise integration toolsets, and IAM configurations.
• Understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Requirements:

• AWS certification (Solutions Architect).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration concepts.
• Utility industry experience preferred.
• Understanding of ERP systems (Maximo, People Soft, Oracle) and related databases.

Compensation Range: $98,993.00 - $
