Mandarin, Cantonese, and/or Chinese Interpreter – Choose Your Own Hours

Face‑to‑face (not video or telephone) interpretation.

Access 2 Interpreters, LLC is the largest local interpretation & translation business in Columbus, offering interpreter and translator services locally and nationwide. Our main office is located in Downtown Columbus.

As a face‑to‑face interpreter, you will use your language skills to assist clients during medical, social‑service, and other appointments. You can take assignments as they become available and set your own schedule.

• Your bilingual skills are in high demand.
• As a contractor, you decide your own schedule.
• Assignments are available 24/7/365; most are requested during business hours.
• You may take as many or as few assignments as you wish.

• Be located in the Central Ohio area.
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check based on fingerprints and a 10‑panel drug screening (at no cost to you).
• Provide proof of program completion from an accredited interpreter training of at least 40 hours (e.g., Bridging the Gap, Access 2 Interpreters' "Access Academy", Court Interpretation, Certificate or Degree in interpretation from an accredited college or university).
• Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or pay for and complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation through an accredited testing and evaluation organization.

We welcome multilingual candidates who speak English and Mandarin, Cantonese, and/or Chinese, as well as those with no prior professional interpretation experience or who speak English as a second language (ESL).
