What You'll Do
Law Clerks/Judicial Attorneys review and analyze arguments presented in a variety of motions and memoranda involving all areas of the Supreme Court’s jurisdiction under Article IV, Section 2(B) of the Ohio Constitution. They also research and prepare initial drafts of merit opinions at the direction of the Justice.
What We’re Looking For- Law school graduate, licensed to practice and in good standing.
- Excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Prior clerkship experience with an Appellate Court Judge or a Supreme Court Justice is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and efficiently.
Successful applicant will be expected to perform duties daily at the Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center in Columbus.
