Job Overview

A law firm seeks an attorney to join a growing real estate-focused practice in Columbus, OH. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a desire to grow a personal book of business and provide transaction support. They must have 3-5 years of experience in real estate legal matters, focusing on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, title work, commercial leasing, land use, zoning, and condominium matters.

• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements.
• Draft and negotiate commercial leases.
• Review and negotiate financing agreements with lenders.
• Review title commitments and surveys.
• Draft operating agreements and joint venture agreements with investors and partners.
• Oversee basic land use and zoning matters.

• Minimum 3-5 years of transactional commercial real estate experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Desire to grow with the firm and develop a personal book of business.
• Strong drafting, research, and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Licensed to practice in Ohio.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
