This role focuses on accuracy, timeliness, and process discipline, ensuring daily transactional requirements are completed on time and escalated appropriately. Strategic decision‑making, customer commitments, and prioritization remain the responsibility of the Supply Chain Associate and Supply Chain Manager.

This position is designed to support complex customers without pulling the broader supply chain team back into a transactional service model.

Time‑Bound Compliance & Accuracy
  • Track and meet strict daily and weekly submission deadlines.
  • Validate transactional accuracy prior to submission (quantities, dates, references).
  • Identify and immediately elevate errors, missing data, or exceptions.
  • Maintain logs of completed tasks to support auditability and continuity.
Coordination & Escalation
  • Communicate transaction completion and exceptions to the assigned Supply Chain Associate.
  • Escalate issues that impact ship dates, quantities, or compliance deadlines.
  • Support recovery actions as directed (re‑uploads, corrections, documentation).

  • Follow defined standard work and customer‑specific SLA requirements.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date work instructions and checklists.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of transactional workflows.
  • Support documentation of recurring issues and opportunities for automation.

  • ERP updates including item set‑up, BOM set‑up, and pricing changes.
  • Maintain clean records of submissions, confirmations, and acknowledgments.
  • Support internal audits or customer compliance reviews as required.
Decision Authority
  • Execute transactions exactly as defined by standard work.
  • Escalate exceptions immediately when requirements cannot be met.
  • No authority to commit ship dates, pricing, or priority changes.

  • On‑time completion of daily transactional tasks.
  • Transaction accuracy / error rate.
  • Missed cutoff incidents.
  • Rework or resubmission frequency.
  • Escalation timeliness.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 1–4 years experience in order processing, customer service, supply chain coordination, or administrative operations.
  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and customer portals.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in structured, repetitive workflows.
Required Skills & Competencies
  • High accuracy and process discipline.
  • Strong time management and prioritization.
  • Clear written communication for escalation and documentation.
  • Ability to follow standard work without deviation.
  • Comfort with repetitive, time‑sensitive tasks.
What Success Looks Like
  • Transactional requirements are met every day without drama.
  • Senior SCAs are not pulled into daily portal work.
  • Customer compliance issues decline.
  • Exceptions are surfaced early, not after misses.
  • The team can rotate coverage without service loss.
