Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for managing shipping, receiving, returns, carrier relations, order management, product management, and customer service. This role ensures prompt, accurate, and systematic handling of finished goods and raw materials while delivering outstanding customer service.
Shift and ScheduleThis is a full time position on 2nd Shift Monday
- Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.
- Check in and out truck drivers efficiently using Carrier Point (Ryder logistics software).
- Accurately process all transactions, including legal documents.
- Assign drivers to loading and unloading doors.
- Coordinate material handlers to load trucks.
- Complete bills of lading for drivers and obtain proper signatures.
- Maintain office areas, including filing and general cleaning duties.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
- Implement new procedures to continuously improve department efficiency and effectiveness.
- Targeted annual compensation range of $41,600 to $52,000.

- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
- 1 year logistics, or shipping and receiving experience.
- 1 year working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- 1 year experience with an automated warehouse management system such as SAP, Oracle, or Manugistics.
