Senior Procurement Specialist

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist / Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support sourcing and procurement initiatives for a leading organization. This role will serve as a subject matter expert in developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to support business operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with experience in supply chain, contract negotiation, and category management, particularly within utilities, manufacturing, or construction environments.

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities for complex, high-value goods and services
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business goals
• Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and spend data to support decision-making
• Lead negotiations and draft contracts, including pricing, terms, and risk mitigation strategies
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support sourcing events and operational initiatives
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and contract compliance
• Coordinate delivery of materials, equipment, and services, including logistics and storage
• Support category management strategies and continuous improvement efforts
• Identify and mitigate risks while maximizing contract value

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• OR equivalent relevant work experience

Experience (based on level):

• Procurement Analyst: 3+ years of procurement or customer service experience
• Procurement Consultant: 5+ years of experience, including cross-functional team collaboration
• Senior Procurement Specialist: 7+ years of experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain

Preferred Experience:

• Utilities, manufacturing, or construction industry background
• Experience with category management and strategic sourcing

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams
