We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Expeditor to support purchasing, logistics, and vendor communication. This is a highly visible, on-site role where you'll play a critical part in ensuring materials and orders are tracked, updated, and delivered on time.

- Manage and expedite purchase orders through email and phone communication
- Partner with suppliers to track order status, confirm timelines, and resolve delays
- Monitor and update open purchase order (PO) reports, ensuring accurate ship dates and acknowledgements
- Communicate updates and changes to internal teams including buyers and sales
- Review and manage backlogged orders, identifying risks and escalating as needed
- Support purchase order processing and acknowledgment workflows
- Assist with pricing updates and system data maintenance
- Provide general purchasing and requisition support to the team
- 1+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, procurement, or administrative support
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accountability
- Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate skills)
- Experience with procurement systems or ERP tools is a plus
- Data entry and reporting experience
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
