Con Global is hiring a Gate Inspector to support safe, efficient intermodal operations at our transportation and warehousing terminal. In this role, you will inspect incoming and outgoing containers, chassis, and trailers at the gate, verifying IDs, seals, and documentation while accurately recording all movements in terminal systems. You'll check for visible damage, apply safety and operating procedures, and communicate with yard, rail, and trucking personnel to keep freight flowing.

Responsibilities
- Inspect inbound and outbound containers, chassis, and trailers at the terminal gate for condition, IDs, and seals.
- Verify and record container numbers, equipment types, and driver information in terminal or gate systems.
- Check shipping documents and bills of lading for accuracy and resolve basic discrepancies.
- Identify and document visible damage or safety issues and escalate per Con
- Global procedures.
- Apply and follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and traffic control rules at the gate.
- Communicate with yard, rail, and trucking personnel via radio or systems to coordinate moves.
- Use handheld scanners, cameras, or RFID tools to capture inspection data and images.
- Assist with gate traffic flow, directing drivers and maintaining an orderly, safe entry/exit process.
- Support continuous improvement by reporting issues, near-misses, and process improvement ideas.
- Participate in required safety meetings, trainings, and terminal certifications as needed.
