- Lead agency strategic sourcing, purchasing, and contracting activities.

As our Sourcing Supervisor, you will lead strategic sourcing and contracting activities while supervising a team of financial, sourcing, and budget professionals. You will work closely with agency leaders, program areas, vendors, and other state partners to ensure goods and services are procured effectively, competitively, and in accordance with applicable requirements.
Minimum qualifications for this classification include one of the following:
- Have at least 4 ½ years’ experience in purchasing/procurement/sourcing to include exp. in performing spend analysis, developing sourcing strategy & evaluating vendor performance.
- Completion of undergraduate core in public or business administration, purchasing, materials management, contracting, acquisition management or logistics, supply chain management, operations management or other sourcing related field with at least 2 ½ years’ experience in purchasing/procurement/sourcing.
- Completion of graduate core in public or business administration, purchasing, materials management, contracting, acquisition management or logistics, supply chain management, operations management or other sourcing related field with at least 1 ½ years’ experience in purchasing/procurement/sourcing.
- Have at least 2 years’ experience as Senior Sourcing Analyst with the State of Ohio.
- Have at least 1 year experience as Sourcing Planner with the State of Ohio.
- The equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
