Operations Specialist

Job Description:

Operations Specialist In the Operations Specialist Role, the below tasks and responsibilities are expected to be completed on a daily basis:
* Tracking and Tracing all freight claimed to the operator’s respective job operator initials 2-3 weeks from ETA date.
* Ensuring accruals (cost and revenue) are protected within 48 hours of ETD date.
* Processing Freight 3-5 days prior to arrival date (ocean) and 24-48 hours prior to arrival date (air). This includes sending arrival notices, dispatch, etc. per respective terms.
* Following all client’s SOPs in regards to processing and EDI efforts.
* Completing billing within 3-5 days of POD date or ATA depending on the terms.
* Updating operator notes within CW on a daily basis to provide visibility of current working status within the shipment.
* Sending timely freight payment requests to appropriate AP team for approval.
* Ensuring freight releases are obtained timely.
* Pulling reports on a daily basis to mitigate missing performance KPIs.
* Escalating matters timely to appropriate contacts.
* Utilizing the USBPO team to assist with any delay notifications/ data integrity input within CW.
