TP- Environmental Maintenance; 2nd shift

Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the distribution center. This role supports daily operations by ensuring work areas, common spaces, and facilities remain sanitary, organized, and free from hazards, helping to promote efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors in warehouse, office, and restroom areas.
• Empty trash cans, recycling containers, and compactors; ensure waste is disposed of properly.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Wipe down surfaces, doors, railings, and equipment to control dust and debris.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies; notify supervisor when replenishment is needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers (as trained).
• Ensure outside entryways, sidewalks, and dock areas remain clean, free of trash, and safe.
• Respond to spills, leaks, or other safety hazards promptly to reduce risk of accidents.
• Assist with seasonal cleaning projects, including deep cleaning and floor care.
• Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall cleanliness and functionality of the distribution center.

• Experience/Qualifications
  
  Required:
  • Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred, especially in warehouse or industrial settings.
  • Ability to perform physical labor including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to perform repetitive motions such as sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.

• OSHA 10 hours.
• Flexible to work different shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.
