As we prepare for this next chapter, we are seeking a detail orientated and driven General Maintenance and Facility Painter.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled General Maintenance and Facility Painter to join our team and help uphold the visual excellence that defines the Boathouse experience. This position places a strong emphasis on painting expertise-requiring a professional with a sharp eye for detail, mastery of surface preparation, and a commitment to delivering flawless finishes across both interior and exterior spaces.

We are looking for a hands-on professional who is equally capable of handling routine repairs, troubleshooting facility issues, and executing high-quality paint finishes.

As a vital member of our maintenance team, you will take pride in enhancing and preserving the appearance of our property through expert craftsmanship. Your work will directly contribute to the ambiance and overall guest experience in our restaurant and event spaces. Job Duties:

  • Skillfully perform painting of both interior and exterior spaces, ensuring clean finishes and attention to detail in every brushstroke.

  • Prepare surfaces thoroughly through patching, sanding, and priming to deliver professional-grade results.

  • Conduct routine maintenance across the facility, including touch-ups, wall repairs, minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.

  • Collaborate with operations and events teams to address maintenance needs promptly and efficiently.

  • Maintain all tools, equipment, and materials in a clean, organized, and ready-to-use condition.

  • Monitor and manage inventory of supplies, reporting restocking needs to management.

  • Proactively identify potential issues and resolve them to maintain the integrity and aesthetics of the property.

  • Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards at all times.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, representing the values of quality and excellence in all tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in general maintenance and facility painting, preferably in hospitality, commercial, or high-end environments.

  • Demonstrated a specialized skill in painting, finishing techniques, and surface preparation.

  • Strong working knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs.

  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Must be dependable, punctual, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and mobility.

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
