CCTV Assistant – EMH&T

Join the Infra technologies team in Columbus, OH as a CCTV Assistant. The role is Monday‑through‑Friday, with overnight travel (start Monday, return Friday) and a $65 per diem. No prior experience required – on‑the‑job training provided.

The CCTV Assistant uses specialized equipment to locate and mark storm water and sanitary sewer collection systems and videotape the interiors of pipe systems using closed circuit video (CCTV) equipment. Work is around sanitary and storm sewers. Safety training and annual certification provided.

• Ability to carry out written instructions and read and interpret sewer system maps and plans.
• Ability to read and record data accurately; strong work ethic, promptness, focus, attention to detail, good organization and follow‑up.
• Ability to react to unusual situations that may call for rapid exit from confined space; punctual, dependable, integrity, teamwork.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record; must pass pre‑employment background and drug screens.
• Continued employment contingent upon passing client’s M07 test within 3 months of employment.

• Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions for 8‑10 hours per day most of the year.
• Stand for extended periods during the majority of the workday.
• Bend, squat, and rise while performing tasks 4 through 6.
• Capable of lowering and raising video camera and recording equipment (60‑75 lbs) into and out of a sewer manhole up to 3‑4 times per hour.
• Lift and set aside 60‑100 lbs using manhole hooks.
• Enter and exit a municipal sewer manhole approximately 24 inches in diameter.
• Work in and around sanitary and storm sewage, tolerating strong smells.
